Job description

This is a remote position.


Scope:

  • 40 hours per week following a consistent schedule

  • Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 6 PM New York Time with 1 hour unpaid lunch break

  • Operate during US business hours

  • Utilize provided software tools including Apollo, CRM systems, and dialer technology

  • Represent the company using the director’s name and credentials when necessary

  • Adapt to changing campaign focuses across various healthcare sectors

  • Potential to expand role as the business grows and takes on new clients

  • Incentives commissions whenever the candidate hits or exceed the target

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct cold calls to brand directors and high-level executives in pharmaceutical companies

  • Set appointments for the company director with qualified prospects

  • Manage and update contact lists in Apollo and other CRM systems

  • Perform outreach via email and LinkedIn to supplement calling efforts

  • Adapt communication strategies for different global markets and cultures

  • Meet or exceed monthly appointment setting targets (approximately 5 meetings per month)

  • Collaborate with the director to refine pitches and overcome objections



Requirements


  • Proven experience in B2B cold calling and appointment setting

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage C-level executives

  • Resilience and persistence in high-volume outreach environments

  • Familiarity with CRM systems, particularly Apollo

  • Ability to quickly understand and articulate complex value propositions

  • Comfortable working independently in a remote setting

  • Fluent English language skills, both written and verbal

Additional Qualifications: 

  • Experience of a technical industry where the roles, products, and systems are often non-standard English words. Not expecting the candidates to know pharmaceuticals from the inside, but a demonstrated ability of working in something specialist would be great.
  • Almost perfect, fluent English and a really clear accent that sounds natural to an American. 
  • Proven years experience on the phone or in a SDR / BDR / appointment setting role Any experience above this in sales would be even better, as there's potential for this person to grow their role into managing clients and new SDRs under them.
