Job Description

Pay ranges from $23-$33/hr depending on experience and location. 

This position reports out of the Sacramento Corporate Office but is offered as hybrid-remote or remote depending on experience and location.  Will be required to work an 8 hour shift, Monday through Friday, candidates should be available to work between the hours of 6am to 6pm PST

The Mortgage Technology Support position is responsible for delivering quality and timely responses to user requests, questions, and problems involving our mortgage applications. 

Supporting Summit Funding users is critical for day-to-day business operation. Your ability to understand process, systems, policies, and procedures is essential to quickly delivering users the information needed to succeed.

What you would be doing:

  • Supporting internal employees with mortgage applications, such as Encompass.
  • Support departments with trending issues and resolutions.
  • Supporting internal customers by providing password support via phone.
  • Continued knowledge growth & training to maintain personal knowledge base.
  • Create a customer experience through communication, knowledge, and excellence.
  • Stay up to date with vendors and internal process changes.
  • Discussing trending issues within the team to identify potential fixes or enhancements that would benefit users.
  • Additional duties as directed.

Qualifications
  • Preferred two (2+) years of combined experience in a mortgage support role and/or operations role such as a processor, loan officer, loan officer assistant or other similar experience. 
  • Experience with Encompass and/or other mortgage software with an understanding of the loan process and stages.
  • Preferred recent applicable continued education/ completed certifications.
  • Preferred experience utilizing a ticketing system.
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook applications.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Clear and concise written and verbal communication.
  • Positive attitude and ability to de-escalate situations.
  • Ability to work between the hours of 6am and 6pm PST, Monday through Friday
