As our Analytics Manager for Growth & Marketing, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our data-driven strategies, leveraging insights to enhance user engagement, optimize marketing efforts, and ultimately propel our mission forward. This management role will work closely with one direct report and cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, Strategic Partnerships, Engineering, Data Science, and leadership team members. It will require a unique blend of exploratory analysis, business strategy, and solution design expertise. What you'll be doing

  • Develop a comprehensive methodology for user acquisition attribution in collaboration with Marketing + Partnerships. 

  • Collaborate with Product and the Head of Growth to create growth and retention strategies based on your insights and inferences. 

  • Help ideate and prioritize a road map of high-impact experiments. Cultivate a scientific approach to testing and learning to unlock value quickly and reduce risk.  

  • Work with data scientists to leverage to design and implement personalization strategies to improve activation and retention rates and improve our user’s experience.

  • Create executive-level narratives of our performance and progress towards targets. 

  • Work with Brand, PR, and Finance teams to tell our story - find key metrics to bring our impact to life

  • Manage multiple initiatives simultaneously across you and your direct report.  

  • Help mature our processes for analysis across the team - develop best practices, offer mentorship, and foster collaboration across the team

  • Be a model of ownership, curiosity, attention to detail, and drive in your role as an analytics leader 

  • Coach and develop your direct report and other junior team members

What you have

  • 6+ years in an analytics role with strong SQL and familiarity with Python.

  • 1+ years of experience managing ICs

  • Successful track record of communicating qualitative and quantitative results succinctly in verbal and written communications for technical, business and executive audiences.

  • Demonstrated capacity to manage collaborative relationships and influence without authority

  • Experience framing up (often) ambiguous problems to drive efficient analytics inquiries and ultimately a decision with clearly defined tradeoffs. 

  • Ability to break large projects into discrete pieces to delegate and/or reprioritize to meet multiple deadlines

  • Ability to succeed in a fast-paced, scrappy work environment (that is fully hybrid for most and remote for some)

  • Strong sense of intellectual curiosity about our users and products, balanced with humility, drive and teamwork

  • Experience in a fast-paced startup environment is strongly preferred, particularly in Consumer app companies in SAAS (subscription business model). 

The anticipated annual base salary for this position is $165,000 - $190,000. This range does not include any other compensation components or other benefits for which an individual may be eligible. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
