Description

The ideal candidate should have an analytical mindset, strong problem-solving abilities, and a solid understanding of cloud technologies, along with experience in containerization. Effective communication and collaboration skills with senior technical leaders are essential for success in our fast-paced government contracting environment.

We are seeking a System Engineer Architect to join our team with knowledge of Army and/or DoD tactical systems. This position will advise senior decision makers on network strategy and integration efforts. Applicants must have network architecture/engineering experience and experience with Army networks is preferred.

You must be authorized to work in the US and maintain a Secret Clearance.

Qualifications

Proficient in at least one major programming language (e.g.Java, Python, C/C++) and related tech stacks (e.g.LAMP, MERN, etc.)
Experience as a software architect designing and overseeing the implementation of software applications
Experience designing software applications that use containerized microservices
Experiences with container orchestration/runtime platform such as RedHat OpenShift
Familiar with modern software architecture and design patterns
In-depth knowledge of inter-process and inter-application communication and integration (such as through messaging and RPC)
Experience designing, developing, testing, and/or fielding mission-critical or safety-critical systems for DoD or other public-sector
organizations a strong plus -such systems may include but not limited to command and control, weapon systems, or aerospace systems.
Experience with tactical communications and networking a plus

Education:

Required:
- A bachelor’s degree in the specialized field plus 10 years of applicable experience.

Or a bachelor’s degree in any field with a minimum of 15 years of specialized experience,

Or a master’s degree in a specialized field plus a minimum of 5 year of applicable experience.

You must be authorized to work in the US and maintain an Active Secret Clearance.
Knowledge of Army and or DoD practices.
