Job description

Job Title: DevOps Engineer

Location: Remote

Salary: $160,000/year

Summary:

CareXM is seeking a DevOps Engineer to develop and maintain tools and automations for managing various technologies and platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage different environments (development, testing, staging, production) and ensure consistency across them - versions, OS, networking
Deploy, support and monitor compute platforms and application stacks
Ability to understand complex systems and a desire to constantly improve
Explore and evaluate new technologies and solutions and how they may advance CareXM
Work closely with development, operations, QA, and other teams to align goals, share knowledge, and drive collective success.
Analyze system capacity and performance requirements to ensure scalability and effective resource utilization. Plan for future growth and scale infrastructure accordingly.
Continuously evaluate existing processes and tools, identifying areas for improvement and implementing enhancements to streamline workflows and increase efficiency.
Demonstrate ability to deliver results on time with high quality

Qualifications:

A related technical degree required

4+ years work experience in a DevOps or similar role (platform engineering, system administration, network engineering, etc.)
Knowledge of scripting languages and ability to automate, across OS platforms
Experience with Azure DevOps and Octopus deploy
In-depth, hands-on experience with Windows administration, networking, server, and cloud architectures
Experience with Azure or another cloud PaaS provider
Experience maintaining, expanding, segmenting, and designing networks/routing.
Proficiency with source control, continuous integration, and testing pipelines
Deep understanding of certificate management and deployments across technologies, operating systems, platforms.
Lead, collaborate, communicate, and mentor
Participate in the team’s on-call rotation to address complex problems in real-time and keep services operational and highly available
