Job Title: Systems Alert Specialist I
Location: Remote (CST Time zone)
Salary Range: up to 5000 USD

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (CST)

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly organized Systems Alert Specialist I to monitor, triage, and respond to server and network alerts in line with service level agreements. The role involves managing system events, ensuring timely response to issues, and collaborating with internal teams to minimize downtime. The ideal candidate should have experience in system monitoring and the ability to document alert triage activities thoroughly.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor, triage, and respond to server and network alerts according to service level agreements.
Assist Systems Administrator teams with managing system events, backups, and disk space issues.
Ensure all alerts are properly documented and escalated as required.
Analyze alert patterns and provide recommendations for proactive measures.
Coordinate with internal teams to resolve alerts and minimize downtime.
Maintain accurate logs of all alert triage activities and resolutions within the alert tickets.

Qualifications:

Proficiency in Microsoft Windows Server OS and Microsoft Office Suite.
Experience with network and server monitoring.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Attention to detail in maintaining accurate logs and documentation.

Nice-to-Haves:

Experience with HaloPSA, Datto & Acronis Backup Systems, Auvik Network Monitoring, Powershell, Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Intune, Cisco Meraki, or Sophos.
