Position

The Sales Development Representative helps Softdocs develop and build relationships with prospects in assigned market verticals. This position reports to the Manager of Sales Development and works closely across the go-to-market team. While not required, professionals with international SDR experience are highly valued. The role is100% remote.


Salary: $45,000-$55,000 base and an OTE of $75,000-$95,000 based on individual efforts.


Responsibilities

  • Pipeline: Generate sales opportunities and pipeline via inbound and outbound campaigns
  • Prospecting: Identify and research potential leads through various channels, including cold calling, email outreach, social media, and events
  • Qualification: Conduct thorough qualification of leads to determine their suitability and level of interest in Softdocs
  • Engagement: Initiate meaningful conversations with prospects to understand their business needs, challenges, and goals.
  • Lead Nurturing: Build and maintain relationships with prospects through ongoing communication and follow-up to keep them engaged and interested in our offerings
  • Discovery Call Setting: Schedule meetings, product demonstrations, or calls for qualified leads with our sales executives
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay informed on SDR best practices and know how and when to implement them
  • Data Integrity: Regularly maintain contact and account data within internal systems to ensure accuracy
  • Events: Participate in trade shows and conferences at the local, regional and national levels
  • Campaigns: Support the sales and marketing team with various campaigns and territory specific outreach efforts
  • Feedback: Regularly provide and openly receive constructive and productive feedback with colleagues


What We Look For

  • 1-2 years of experience in sales, lead generation, or customer service, preferably in an enterprise software environment
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage prospects through phone calls, emails, and in-person interactions
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and establish relationships with diverse individuals
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets
  • Familiarity with sales enablement software such as Salesforce, Outreach, or others
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaborate effectively
  • International SDR experience is a plus
