This is a remote position.

Job Overview:

As a Loan Processor, you will play a pivotal role in the lending process by ensuring smooth and efficient loan approvals. Your expertise in conducting borrowing power assessments and your familiarity with MY CRM will be essential in evaluating client eligibility and managing loan applications.

Job Description: 
  • Conduct Borrowing Power Assessments: Evaluate clients’ financial situations to determine their borrowing capacity and suitability for various loan products.
  • Utilize MY CRM: Manage loan applications and client information effectively using MY CRM, ensuring all records are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Learn New Policies: Stay informed about industry regulations and internal policies, demonstrating a proactive attitude toward continuous learning.
  • Apply Lender Knowledge: Use your broad knowledge of various lenders to identify appropriate loan options and provide informed recommendations to clients.
  • Process Applications Efficiently: Work quickly and accurately to process loan applications, ensuring timely approvals and compliance with all requirements.
  • Prepare Broker Notes: Create clear and concise broker notes to facilitate communication and collaboration with clients and lending institutions.

Requirements
  • Experience using MY CRM for managing loan applications and client information.
  • Familiarity with servicing calculators to assess loan repayment options and client affordability.
  • Ability to understand and analyze various sources of income to accurately evaluate client eligibility for loans.
  • Strong skills in obtaining necessary information from clients and third parties to facilitate the loan process.
  • Experience in preparing and organizing loan files to ensure completeness and compliance with lender requirements.
  • Knowledge of the process for ordering property valuations and appraisals as part of the loan processing workflow.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the loan processing lifecycle, including documentation, underwriting, and approval stages.
  • Knowledge of various lender policies and guidelines to ensure compliance and appropriate product offerings.
  • Ability to prepare clear and detailed broker notes to communicate effectively with clients and lenders.
  • ​Proficient in applying online and guiding clients through the online application process.
