Job Purpose:
This position is also required to ensure infallible Financial Risk Management and Control framework (FRMC). Further AM Reporting is required to assist FC in all Statutory, Corporate, Regulatory and Secretarial interactions and compliances internally and externally. AM financial reporting shall be responsible for the management of the activities to generate controlling information related to company operations, with the objective of conforming to current legislation and closing deadlines. Analyze reporting information and drive decision making.
Job Related Experience:
The key responsibilities include following;
Responsible for the overall Financial and Accounting operations including risk management. Statutory and corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting.
Preparation and timely submission of data to the regulators including but not limited to Securities & Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP), Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), Central Depository Company (CDC) and State Bank of Pakistan (SBP).
Assist FC in preparation of Board presentations including Corporate Briefing Sessions with institutional investors and Annual General Meetings with Shareholders.
Ensure timely preparation and publication of Quarterly and Annual Financial Statements in accordance with IFRS and Companies Act.
Establish and Implement financial reporting system to ensure compliance with government regulations and legislations.
Conduct research on technical accounting and statutory issues including Technical Releases (TRs) to ensure compliance.
Coordinate with external auditors twice a year for interim and year end audit; ensure timely provision of information from relevant data owners to ensure smooth Audit proceedings.
Ensure timely preparation and submission of Quarterly Profitability templates and assist FC during reviews with Global tax function, Transfer pricing documentation with UK EnY team being legal entity.
Ensure that all financial transactions are properly recorded, filed and reported. Examine all financial reports and data to check for discrepancies.
Report to the FC with timely and accurate financial information and assist in presenting reports to senior executives and stakeholders.
Coordinate with Internal Auditors to ensure timely provision of required information.
Liaison with ICSS team to ensure that monthly actual results are reported accurately in BISON system.

Experience: Minimum 3 to 5 years (preferably from audit firm)
