We support the operational estate in terms of performance, insight and critical metric development. We look after central planning to help identify and inspire change, improvement and standardisation across the operation.

 

This role in a nutshell:

You'll work closely with the senior management team from our Back Office teams to ensure clarity, consistency and insight to our operational teams' performance and cost to serve.

 

Your key outcomes will be:

  • Assess and improve supply & demand planning models that deliver targeted business outcomes
  • Deliver budget outlooks, along with monthly re-forecasting with robust audit tracking in place for all variances to the plan
  • Hold responsibility for driving forward resourcing solutions, through ownership of recruitment plans and supplier locks to meet the project capacity needs 
  • Ensure that all monthly forecasts are delivered on time in line with key internal customers’ timelines aligning with the OVO Planning Cycle
  • Work with Operations teams to capture all relevant inputs to optimise the plan and deliver against all commitments.
  • Work with Operations teams to understand and be able to “walk down” variances to previous budgets and forecasts., presented monthly

 

You’ll be a successful Planning Manager here at OVO if you have…

  • A proven track record of delivery and expertise in business & resource planning, from long range outlooks through to intraday staffing
  • Experience working within a technology, business transformation or business analysis field
  • A structured and disciplined approach - ability to build networks and foster collaborative ways of working and promote effective data driven decision making 
  • Experience of working in a fast pace, complex and innovative businesses that have seen rapid growth and expansion including through acquisitions 
  • High energy - a proactive, impactful leader who can deliver through others and directly

We’ll pay you between £42,000 and £50,000, depending on your specific skills and experience. If your expectations are a little different, let us know!
