This position is part of our ScraperAPI team, one of the rapidly growing and highly profitable brands within saas.group.
ScraperAPI is a robust, high-capacity data collection platform dedicated to making public data easily accessible for everyone, no matter the scale. We cater to both B2B and B2C customers with our unique, scalable solution, supporting businesses and developers primarily in e-commerce, AI training data, and SEO-related public data collection, among other areas.
We are seeking a dynamic and visionary Chief Executive Officer to lead our SaaS company in shaping the future of our leading data collection SaaS platform. The ideal candidate will be a strategic generalist with extensive experience in managing and growing a SaaS product and developing GTM strategies. This role requires a blend of strategic vision, innovative thinking, and the ability to execute on product initiatives. You will have complete Profit & Loss ownership and accountability for the continued, accelerated growth of ScraperAPI.
Your Responsibilities
Product Strategy and Vision: Work closely with the leadership team to develop a comprehensive product vision and strategy that includes a unified service offering, targeting developers and decision makers likewise. Focuses on market penetration, pricing, packaging, competitive & unique selling points, and that unmatched value is delivered to customers.
Leadership: Lead cross-functional teams to execute the product and business strategy effectively. Foster a collaborative and high-performing culture within the organization. You’ll lead a company of 20+ people (Tech, Product, Sales, Marketing and Customer Support), and manage & mentor senior managers in a fast-paced market.
Profit & Loss: Define and optimize the operational budget of the business, interact with controlling, optimize for accelerated further growth while maintaining a healthy profit margin. Show strong business and financial acumen incl. experience in managing budgets and making sound financial decisions.
Innovation & Growth: Drive innovation and profitable growth within the company through innovative sales, marketing & customer success strategies as well as through collaboration with other brands withing saas.group. Identify new market opportunities and leverage emerging technologies to enhance product offerings and create competitive advantages.
What You Bring to the Table
Proven success record in management within a commercial / SaaS environment - having managed a company with more than 10MM$ ARR and direct PnL responsibility
Deep understanding of the market of data collection, developer tools and highly transactional APIs will be a great advantage.
Outstanding people management and leadership skills: experience in leading and shaping executive teams as well as recruiting, developing and retaining talent. Proven ability to foster a culture of ownership and autonomy in your team
Strong strategic thinking and complex problem solving skills with multiple stakeholders.
Product-sense, user-centricity and the ability to shape the product at a high level.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate and solve complex issues, tackle management and leadership situations effectively, influence internal and external stakeholders, including reporting to the Board
Demonstrated ability to innovate and drive product and company growth.
