Enbridge Gas Ohio is hiring a Gas Operations Supervisor who will supervise capital pipeline projects and restoration of gas distribution facilities, project and resource management, customer involvement and monitoring of work. The Supervisor will support reliability performance goals and supervise crews during outages to ensure timely restoration of service.

Here’s what you will do:
Schedule, assign and monitor the work of construction crews and / or contractors.
Pre / post inspect jobs, resolve design problems and material discrepancies, and review contractor expenses to ensure accurate time and equipment charges.
Ensure proper work methods are applied and safety precautions are followed. Resolves customer complaints.
Advise and assist in technical training and development of employees. Supervises emergency restoration of service activities, including night management of packaging work.
Utilize GIS, SAP, Microsoft excel and word applications.
Monitor budget goals and employee productivity.
Oversee operations and procedures of direct reports to ensure productivity, as well as, compliance with company, state and federal rules, regulations and policies: responsible for company assets and budgets.
Continually look for ways to improve process and procedures, not only within the department, but throughout all Design and Construction at Springside.
Interpret policies, procedures, agreements and terms and conditions.
Develop bargaining unit employees by providing training, mentoring, development and oversite of activities for assigned employees including completion of performance reviews.
Who you are:
You have:
9+ years of directly related experience with a High School diploma/GED OR 7+ years of directly related experience with an Associate's degree OR 5+ years of directly related experience with a Bachelor's degree.
Proficiency in MS Word and Excel
Full knowledge of pipeline distribution system; construction work methods; maintenance and repair; operations guidelines; cost analysis; customer service; essential computer skills.
Leadership and contract interpretation skills.
Interpersonal and strong verbal and written communication.
Project and time management skills.
Planning, organizational, and decision making skills.
Teaming, training and experience in managing multiple priorities and construction projects simultaneously.

Physical Requirements include but are not limited to:
Grasping, kneeling, light – moderate lifting (objects up to 20 pounds), reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, typing, sitting, standing, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, read fine print), hearing requirement and the ability to sit at a computer for long periods of time.
