The Role
As a curious and dynamic Product Data Analyst, your ability to turn data into actionable insights will be fundamental to your success. Your knowledge of product analytics will allow you to proactively provide insights and effectively collaborate with your team. You will work closely with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders across the organization to evaluate product performance, identify trends, and inform strategic decisions to drive product growth. You should have a passion for understanding user behavior, advanced analytical skills, and proficiency with tools such as SQL, Excel, Tableau.
What You Will Do
- Analyze product performance data to inform product decisions and identify growth opportunities.
- Collaborate with product managers to design, track, and analyze key metrics and KPIs for ongoing product improvements.
- Conduct in-depth user behavior analysis to uncover trends, pain points, and opportunities for feature enhancement.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track product health and performance.
- Work with cross-functional teams to develop hypotheses and conduct A/B tests, providing actionable recommendations based on test outcomes.
- Participate in projects to gather and analyze customer data used in making strategic business decisions by the leadership team.
- Respond to cross-organization requests for product related information. (reports, dashboards, etc.)
What You Need to Succeed
- 3+ years of experience in software product analytics, in a SaaS company.
- Experience with Business Intelligence tools (Tableau is preferred).
- Data modeling, gathering, and cleansing experience. (SQL - Google Bigquery is preferred.).
- A curious mind. Always wants to go deeper to understand more about the data and the information that it is providing.
- Ability to understand and document the full data lineage.
- Experience at companies that employ modern product management & software development techniques.
- Ability to make decisions based on combined qualitative and quantitative data.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Exceptional organizational skills and ability to manage competing priorities at a fast pace.
- Natural bias toward action; highly independent
Nice to Haves But Not Required
- Experience using Tableau.
- Experience with Google Big Query. (modeling and developing queries)
- Experience in the non-profit sector.
- Experience with statistical/predictive modeling.

Compensation
The salary range for this position is: $63,000 - $95,000. You may also be eligible for a discretionary bonus. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent on your skills, experience, qualifications, and location, as well as applicable employment laws.
Location
This is a permanent, full-time, fully remote position. Employees living in Indianapolis, IN are welcome to work from our company headquarters. We do not offer Visa sponsorship or relocation assistance at this time.
