As we continue to expand our operations, we are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Revenue Accountant to join our finance team and play a pivotal role in driving our success.

Reporting to the Senior Manager of Revenue Accounting, the Senior Revenue Accountant will be responsible for performing all aspects of revenue accounting, including financial reporting and compliance. This role will involve collaborating closely with cross-functional departments to ensure accurate revenue recognition and adherence to regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the revenue accounting function, ensuring accurate and timely recording of revenue transactions in compliance with US GAAP and ASC 606.

  • Perform monthly close tasks for all revenue-related activities.

  • Prepare monthly journal entries, reconciliations, variance analysis, and other analytics to ensure complete and accurate recognition of revenues.

  • Provide support to the Senior Manager, Revenue Accounting for finance requests, audit inquiries, and other revenue-related matters.

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including sales, marketing, and other departments to provide guidance on complex revenue transactions, ensuring accurate and timely recognition.

  • Leverage data analytics tools to identify revenue trends and improve forecasting accuracy.

  • Assist in the development and implementation of process improvements to increase efficiency and quality.

  • Provide support and maintenance regarding internal controls over the order-to-cash cycle, including reporting and related accounting estimates.

  • Assist with the implementation and maintenance of revenue-related systems and tools, ensuring alignment with business needs.

  • Collaborate with finance and business teams to analyze revenue-related transactions and variances to budget.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred.

  • Minimum of 4-7 years of progressive experience in revenue accounting or related roles. Prior public accounting experience preferred.

  • Advanced knowledge of US GAAP and revenue recognition principles, with specific expertise in ASC 606.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail.

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and influence key stakeholders.

  • Ability to think strategically and drive process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

What we offer:

Salary is only one component of the Amplify Total Rewards package, which includes a 401(k) plan, competitive health insurance and mental health options, basic life insurance, paid time off, parental leave, and access to best-in-class development programs. The gross annualized salary range for this role is $94,000 - $105,000. This role is eligible to receive an annual discretionary bonus that rewards individual and company performance.
