Job Description Summary

Activities contributing to the design and development of products and their interaction with the human body. Impacts departmental operations and responsible for planning/execution. The role has some autonomy but is focused on execution of activities within an operating discipline covered by standard functional practices and procedures. Some judgment may be required but this is typically with guidance.

Our Pharmaceutical Diagnostics (PDx) business is the number one global supplier of contrast media and molecular imaging agents used to enhance medical imaging exams. Used throughout all major disease area diagnostic and treatment pathways, PDx products support three patients every second around the world.

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities

  • Develop product, clinical, and software knowledge, skills, and competence within the Nuclear Medicine and PET modality supporting GE Healthcare’s radiopharmaceutical portfolio (Neurology, Cardiology, Oncology) and including DaTQUANT quantification software.
  • Collaborate and coordinate the delivery of on-site and virtual customer training including pre-training coordination, patient go-live support, and ongoing post go-live training and support as needed over the lifecycle of the product.
  • Provide educational sessions to technologists to provide CE courses and support product reader training.
  • Collaborate with Field Sales teams to support pre-sale product activities such as image reviews, DaTQUANT quantification demo, technical product support, or similar.
  • Speak on GEHC MI products at conferences, speaking events, customer events as needed to support clinical education of the product
  • Communicate all relevant product and/or customer concerns or opportunities to the Management team, Field Sales, Marketing, and Medical Affairs regarding technical and clinical issues or how to improve the quality of the product or overall product offerings.
  • Basic understanding of key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish own work. Good understanding of how work of own team integrates with other teams and contributes to the area.
  • May have some autonomy to make decisions within a defined framework. Resolves issues in situations that require good technical knowledge and judgment within established procedures. Consults more senior team members for issues outside of defined instructions/parameters.
  • A job at this level requires good interpersonal skills. For customer facing roles, develops strong customer relationships and serves as the interface between customer and GE. Explains technical information to others.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 4 years of imaging experience with at least 3 years of Nuclear Medicine modality experience.
  • CNMT or equivalent specific Nuclear Medicine modality certification.
  • Comfortable in a clinical/patient environment.
  • Required to travel extensively 85+% (4-5 days per week including overnights and some weekends) within US and Canada (USCAN) via multiple modes of transportation (car, air travel, train etc.) as necessary for onsite customer education and training.
  • Located on the West Coast near a major airport.
  • Proficient use of software applications, such as, Windows Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel and navigating other computer and web-based tools (intranet/internet/apps)
  • Ability to learn specialized industry specific software and provide digital education and training solutions
  • Will be required to register with one or more vendor credentialing services by various customer hospitals. This requires, but not limited to, proof of immunization for mumps, measles and rubella(MMR) and hepatitis and drug testing /screening.

Desired Characteristics

  • Preferred experience with multi-vendor PET systems and imaging
  • Desired familiarity with viewing software such as MIM, Hermes and Syngo

For U.S. based positions only, the pay range for this position is $93,840.00-$140,760.00 Annual. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the pay range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience and location. In addition, this position may also be eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
