Surgical Sales Representative

Location: Veracruz

As a SSR  supporting to Surgical Team you will be responsible for establishing and implementing a sales business plan for a designated client base or implementation of a specific sales program to effectively support the patient journey and properly position Alcon and its brands. Being able to communicate Alcon´s value and purpose through service provision.

In this role, a typical day will include:

•           Responsible for driving sales, promotion and development in the designated accounts to reach commercials goals.

•           Commitment

•           with existing customers by continuously proposing solutions that meet their needs and objectives.

•           Management of IOLS Consignment.

•           Lead the preparation of strategies and individual tactical plans and to give strategic input in terms of analysis, future potential and key programs required for the accounts.

•           Prepare and negotiate commercial contracts and follow up of the execution and performance.

•           Analyze market situation including competitive intelligence activities on key accounts and key competitors.

•           Contribute to the mapping of stakeholders, including segmentation and profiling and provide accurate and timely data for the Alcon CRM system.

•           Knowledge of the overall potential of the business (surgical volume, surgeon´s preferences and consumption habits, etc).

•           Have a strong relationship with decisions makers, influencers, and successors. 

•           Establish and develop long-term relationships with the customers in the assigned territory.

•           Timely and effective resolution of customer request needs and issues.

•           Acquire a thorough understanding of key customer need and requirements.

•           Responsible of maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.

•           EFA management.

•           Planning and reporting daily activities in Alcon´s CRM system.

•           Open service requests and follow up actions.

•           Follow all adverse event guidelines, and Code of Conduct guidelines as promoted by Alcon

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO ALCON:

  • Experience: +1 years of experience as sales representative in ophthalmology / medical devices.
  • Knowledge of the medical devises market.
  • Knowledge and experience in selling and negotiation with customers
  • Education:  Ophthalmologist, Biomedical Engineering or similar.
  • Languages: English level basic
