Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our client's

Runtime Platform Group. In this role, you will build the company's

FedRAMP-authorized environment for U.S. Federal Government projects. As a Senior Software Engineer, you'll be on a team building a secure, compliant SaaS platform for Federal government-led construction projects. This will involve modifying cloud-native applications and services to run in a dedicated environment that meets all controls for, and is authorized for use at, the FedRAMP Moderate level.

This position reports to the Runtime Platform Software Architect and will be based remotely within the Continental United States. We're looking for someone to join us immediately. Responsibilities: What you'll do:

Collaborate closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to build, deploy, and document the applications and services necessary to run our SaaS platform in an AWS Govcloud region. Continually ensure our processes and results comply with the FedRAMP Moderate level of controls. Update existing applications, services, and tools to comply with FedRAMP requirements for FIPS 140 encryption, change control processes, and audit requirements. Develop new tools and processes as needed to support FedRAMP requirements for security and auditability. Engineer resilient systems that support 24x365 uptime at a 99.95% availability level. Build and test disaster recovery mechanisms for systems and data.

Must Haves

Strong Ruby On Rails experience. Heavy focus and hands-on technical fluency within AWS Cloud Environments. (In essence, the client is looking for a software engineer who not only writes code but also has significant, hands-on experience working within and managing AWS environments, ensuring the software they develop is integrated and optimized for AWS services Terraform to manage infrastructure code.
