Key Responsibilities

• Review and evaluate new cases assigned by the adjuster.
• Draft essential legal documents, including pleadings and motions, and handle written discovery.
• Respond promptly to discovery requests.
• Analyze property damage records and claims files to ascertain damages and liability considerations.
• Prepare for and conduct depositions, including those of expert witnesses.
• Argue motions and represent the firm at court hearings, mediations, and trials.
• Engage with clients through regular phone calls, providing comprehensive updates on case progress.
• Trial experience or familiarity with trial preparation is advantageous.
  
  

Required Skills

• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in Florida First Party Property Defense Litigation.
• Strong analytical and legal writing abilities.
• Proficient in drafting pleadings, motions, and responding to discovery requests.
• Experience in conducting depositions and preparing for court proceedings.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
