As the Vice President of Portfolio and Wealth Advisory, you will play a crucial role within our Advisory team, managing daily client portfolio oversight and ensuring adherence to best practices in asset allocation, performance evaluation, and trading oversight. Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily management and monitoring of client portfolios, focusing on asset allocation, performance metrics, and trading activities.
  • Collaborate with external advisors, including attorneys and tax accountants, to provide integrated and comprehensive advisory services to clients.
  • Engage clients proactively on relevant market trends, tax law changes, trust and estate matters, and overall wealth management strategies.
  • Coordinate client meetings by preparing agendas and collaborating with senior team members, while mentoring junior staff.
  • Actively participate in client meetings to address needs and implement meaningful solutions.
  • Share insights and recommendations during internal strategy discussions.
  • Assist new clients in articulating their investment objectives as they transition to our firm.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with service providers to enhance the value offered to our client base.
  • Provide strategic input to the sales and marketing efforts aimed at prospective clients.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in wealth management or portfolio advisory roles.
  • Demonstrated success in servicing high-net-worth individuals and families, with a strong client service orientation.
  • Proficiency in various dimensions of portfolio management.
  • Capacity to thrive in a collaborative team environment while becoming an essential member of existing client relationship teams.
  • High motivation, ethical standards, and professional maturity.

Qualifications

Candidates must meet one of the following requirements to avoid taking the Series 65 exam:

  • Successful completion of the Series 65 exam (unexpired).
  • Passing both the Series 7 and 66 exams (unexpired).
  • Holding an active relevant professional designation such as CFA or CFP.
