We are seeking a talented Civil Engineer/Project Manager to become a vital part of our dynamic team in Altamonte Springs, FL, with the flexibility of remote work options.

Key Responsibilities

Role

In your role as a Civil Engineer/Project Manager, you will be instrumental in civil and site design, land planning, and permitting across a diverse array of projects, including:

  • Designing and planning athletic and recreation facilities for municipal, K-12, and higher education projects.
  • Coordinating with team members to ensure timely completion of tasks while adhering to quality control standards.
  • Developing construction documents, technical reports, and cost estimations.
  • Managing project-related billing, invoicing, and staffing projections.
  • Mentoring junior personnel and providing essential guidance to foster their growth within the organization.
  • Contributing to business development by preparing proposals and responding to requests for proposals/qualifications.
  • Engaging with clients during meetings to facilitate effective communication and build long-lasting relationships.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Civil 3D software.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the capability to lead design teams and mentor less experienced staff.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of civil design aspects, including hydrology, grading, and utilities for various development projects.
  • Familiarity with state and local permitting processes and sustainable design applications, particularly with Water Management Districts (SJRWMD, SWFWMD, SFWMD) in Florida.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
  • A Professional Engineer (P.E.) license is required.
  • 7-10 years of relevant experience in civil design across diverse development types.
