Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and skilled School-Based Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic team in a remote capacity. In this role, you will conduct virtual assessments and create personalized treatment plans aimed at improving students’ functional abilities and enhancing their participation in both academic and social settings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct virtual assessments to analyze students’ fine motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living activities.
  • Design individualized treatment plans tailored to assessment outcomes and specific student goals, emphasizing functional skill enhancement.
  • Collaborate extensively with educators, support staff, and families to seamlessly incorporate therapy objectives into the virtual classroom and home environments.
  • Track student progress and modify therapy interventions as necessary, employing data-driven strategies to achieve favorable results.
  • Maintain meticulous documentation of therapy sessions, progress evaluations, and communications with all relevant stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • A Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
  • Washington state licensure (ESA) or eligibility for licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).
  • Recent experience as an occupational therapist in a school context.
