This is a remote position.

Job Description:

As part of our ongoing M365 program, Digital Health is in the process of migrating our existing
SharePoint 2013 Team sites to SharePoint Online. By October 2024, most of the Team sites have
already been migrated and approximately 176 sites remain that still require migration to
SharePoint Online. There is an urgent need for this migration given SharePoint 2013 reached end
of-life and is no longer supported by Microsoft.We are looking for external consultants
to complete the remainder of Teamsite migration work. The deadline for completion is March 31,
2025.

The scope of work includes 176 sites of low or medium complexity as outlined in the
attached report (SharePoint 2013 Site Report – All Sites 20241023.pdf). This work will
involve mostly site restructuring (e.g. splitting one existing site into two new sites) and
content migration but no customizations or automations will be required, making the
migration process straightforward. The breakdown of these sites is as follows: 
  • Low complexity sites are sites containing less than 15 lists or libraries with
    content, and simple permissions. There are 126 sites in this category.
  • Medium complexity sites are sites containing over 15 lists or libraries with content,
    multiple permissions groups or unique permissions. There are 50 sites in this
    category.
  • High complexity sites are defined as those requiring customizations or
    automations to be built. There are 0 sites in this category. 

Duties:
Roles And Responsibilities:
  • Review the existing process and documentation to familiarize themselves with required
    tasks, activities and technical considerations with the IH team lead.
  • Provide input site migration prioritizations (sprints) for our team lead.
  • Independently perform mass site migrations, including modifying and running scripts to
    execute the migration process, as outlined in the process flowchart. Processes identified
    in blue will be the responsibility of the external consultant, where as the processes
    identified in green will be the responsibility of the lead.
  • Communicating with team lead, on progress, challenges encountered
    and escalation of issues
  • Participate in weekly sprint planning and review meetings
  • Ongoing support and collaboration with team lead.
