THE POSITION
You will effectively coach, develop and performance manage the multispecies field team to deliver commercial objectives for BIAH in Ireland and Northern Ireland for targeted products, delivered through high quality customer interactions in line with Commercial Excellence principles.
You will collaborate and co-create, operationalize, and implement identified Strategic Accounts and Sales Plans and be an active member of the Livestock Leadership Team
This is a field based position that can be Ireland or Northern Ireland based
TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Lead, develop & motivate a team of Territory Managers across all species identifying training and development needs and facilitate continuous individual accountability.
• Conduct regular performance reviews of the team including resource planning, recruitment, coaching, training, development planning, talent management & performance management.
• Create and implement tactical plans aligned to species, portfolio & brand objectives ensuring they are relevant to Ireland/NI market through collaboration with Marketing colleagues on product promotion, market penetration and growth. Ensuring all sales activities are well documented in CRM systems.
• Develop and manage national sales strategies to achieve or exceed sales targets across Ireland for all species co-construct, manage, deliver KPIs across species reporting on performance against targets/KPIs.
• Identify potential risks that could impact sales performance, e.g., market fluctuations or regulatory changes – develop mitigation strategies.
• Facilitates customer/environment feedback, market trends, competitor activity, customer feedback and strategic insights seeking out business opportunities.
• Work collaboratively to develop Account Plans for key customers and strategic accounts with clear customer and commercial outcomes, aligned to species, portfolio and brand Strategy and market dynamics.
• Map and manage stakeholders across key accounts. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers and internal stakeholders.
• Work with Head of AH Trade Management to review/design and ensure adherence to processes to ensure there is good communication and logistic flows such that sufficient stock is available when customers wish to order.
• Manage and allocate the sales function budget effectively, ensuring cost efficiency and return on investment with a focus on innovation.
• Ensure team are trained in and comply with internal compliance procedures & APHA code of practice. Maintain high standards for pharmacovigilance reporting and uphold high ethical standards in all sales practices.
• Engage with key Stakeholders at all levels.

• Intimate understanding and knowledge of Irish veterinary market is strongly desirable
