About the role

We are looking for a passionate, enthusiastic individual join our team as Team Leader for our Clean Energy Experts, supporting your team to perform high quality home surveys with a “WOW” customer experience. You'll be supporting the selling of renewable energy heating systems.

The role is based in your region, and there will be expectation for in-day travel to meet customer demand. The role is Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm, however you will need flexibility for weekend and out-of-hours work to meet customer demand.

Team Leaders for Clean Energy Experts working for Aira can progress to Manager roles, as well as any other position within Aira. We will encourage you to engage with internal development opportunities, and always think about your current role in the context of your future career within Aira.

What you'll be doing
  • You will be responsible for a team of 4-8 Clean energy experts.
  • You are responsible for your team reaching the monthly sales budget and that these sales smoothly convert into installations with high precision and minimal deviations.
  • You are an expert and ambassador of AIRA SALES METHOD and ensure your team deliver “WOW” customer experiences every day to build the Aira brand.
  • Your main responsibility is to ensure all team members have the right knowledge and skills with regards to the Aira sales method, have clear targets, as well as have the right motivation, daily routines and activity level to become successful at Aira.
  • You will run daily start-up team meetings as well as weekly and monthly reviews.
  • You are responsible for ensuring training is planned and performed regularly.
  • You will be responsible for onboarding of new Clean Energy Experts (CEE).
  • As a Team Lead at Aira, we lead from the front – this means you will spend a majority of your time out in the field educating, coaching, supporting operationally out in the field at customer meetings.
  • You will perform and document shadowing of CEEs at customer meetings.
  • You will coach and give feedback after sales meetings and training.
  • You will perform training when you discover things to improve.
  • Follow KPIs and identify improvements.
  • Through your actions, you ensure a high-quality standard in sales.
  • You support sales-relevant projects and initiatives.
  • You work closely with the Head of Region as well as Planning, Design and. Installation teams to ensure the sales follow through to installations with high quality, efficiency and minimal drop off.

    • You will need to have a UK Driving license for the role of Team Leader for our Clean Energy Experts.
Salary and Commission
  • The role of Clean Energy Expert at Aira has a Guaranteed Salary of £35,000 plus uncapped commission based on sales and team performance.
  • Commission is earnt on Sales of Heat Pumps, Solar, EV Chargers & other Green Tech. 
  • Average forecast salary for Team Leader Trainee = c£60,000 P/A
  • Average forecast salary for Experienced Team Leader  = >£70,000 P/A Uncapped
  • Full commission structure to be shared upon joining Aira.
