Job description

ServiceNow Technical Consultant - Fully Remote, UK Based

Wrangu is seeking an experienced ServiceNow Technical Consultant (TC) to join our UK team. As a TC at Wrangu, you will have the opportunity to provide exceptional consulting services and hands-on delivery of the technical aspects of ServiceNow implementations. Your work will influence a diverse portfolio of client projects across the EMEA region and beyond, ensuring our clients receive a value-added experience in every interaction.

You will:

  • Provide ServiceNow development capabilities on client implementations, continuously aligning with the Now Create methodology and ServiceNow best practices.
  • Attend and contribute to functional design workshops, both onsite and remote, crafting design specifications that hinge on out-of-the-box functionality and client requirements.
  • Work closely with our internal project team and customers to translate business needs into precise technical requirements, distinguishing essential needs from client wants.
  • Address technical and application configuration queries, effectively communicating issues and solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Configure the ServiceNow platform in adherence to established technical best practices.
  • Translate user stories into practical ServiceNow solutions.
  • Actively participate in all facets of an agile team, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, release planning, and backlog refinement.

You’ll have:

  • Current certifications:
    • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator
    • ServiceNow Certified Application Developer
    • ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist
    • and 5 ServiceNow Micro Certifications.
  • Expertise in one or more core ServiceNow modules such as:
    • SecOps (inc Vulnerability Response, Security Incident Response & Threat Intelligence)
    • GRC (inc Integrated Risk Management, Business Continuity Management, Privacy Management, and Third-party Risk Management)
  • 1-2 years of direct client-facing consulting experience within a services organisation engaging multiple projects.
  • 2 years’ experience in scripting on the ServiceNow platform.
  • Demonstrated ability to craft ServiceNow solutions for complex business problems.
  • Proficiency in producing documentation for both technical teams and customer-facing purposes.
  • Strong organisational skills to manage competing priorities in a complex environment.
  • Excellent communication abilities, including verbal, written, and presentation skills, with the capability to deliver engaging presentations to stakeholders at all levels.
  • A solid understanding of Agile delivery and Project Management methodologies.
  • Eligibility to qualify for UK SC clearance and willingness to undertake Drug & Alcohol tests.
