The Business Program Management team leads strategic programs and initiatives across the division. We align product, engineering, and cross-functional teams to exceed the expectations of our customers. Leaders across the organization rely on us to execute on critical programs with high business impact.

Partner with the best

Program Managers are key contributors to Akamai's success. You will help lead projects and developing processes that enable us to measure and improve performance. As a result, this will result in improved customer satisfaction.

As a Technical Program Manager II, you will be responsible for-

  • Establishing cross-functional teams, coordinating subject matter experts to establish, plan and implement programs
  • Managing program plans, dependencies, deliverables, and risks, while aligning resources and providing proactive program visibility
  • Evaluating and improving processes, tools, and best practices to help shape efficiency and consistency
  • Driving cultural change by championing an agile mindset
  • Ensuring the organization is adhering to industry best practices
  • Serving as a point of contact for escalation with stakeholders and assisting in removal of blockers

To be successful in this role you will-

  • Have 2-5 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree in business management or its equivalent
  • Be comfortable navigating ambiguity, handling risks, and shifting gears as needed
  • Demonstrate ability in change management and transformation processes
  • Have experience with business process, operations, and metric definition best practices
  • Have good interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills and inspire people at all levels of the organization without authority
  • Be able to work effectively across a wide range of constituencies in a diverse corporate and client environment
