Position name: Release Manager

FREELANCE - 3 MONTH DURATION WITH POSSIBILITY OF EXTENSION

Q ualifications :

The Salesforce Release Architect is responsible for release management, code conflict resolution and will take care of salesforce custom development activities
- Design, develop, test, document, and deploy Salesforce solutions.
- Collaborate with technical or solutions architects and internal stakeholders on integrations and solution deployment.
- Communicate with project teams regarding status, technical issues, and creative solution
Salesforce Experience:
Extensive experience in SFDC Administration with sound experience in automation.
Proven knowledge and expertise in practical application of Visualforce, Apex Programming and Force.com APIs
across multiple clients
Good knowledge of Salesforce configuration capabilities and ability to automate using out of the box features e.g.
process builders, flows, workflows as well as Lightning and Lightning Component experience
Prior experience of integration with ETL tools like Informatica/Mulesoft.
Experience in Sales Cloud and Service Cloud.
Experience with Salesforce APIs, Apex Triggers and Classes, SOQL, Force.com Tool and Toolkits.
Experience in working with Salesforce Workflow Rules and Approvals, Visual Flow, Process Builder and
Salesforce limitations.
Experience with REST/SOAP APIs (XML, JSON).
User Interface: Salesforce Visual Force, HTML5, JavaScript, CSS, Lightening, jQuery, AJAX.
Strong understanding of design principles, technically scalable data modeling, Force.com development best
practices.
Develop accurate estimates on level of effort for timely project execution.
Review and assure quality in all code entering the code base.
Comprehensive experience on debugging and troubleshooting in Salesforce.
Self-starter who has ability to multi-task in a dynamic environment.
Take responsibility for end-to-end solution delivery for their respective tracks.
Detailed-oriented individual with ability to rapidly learn and take advantage of new concepts, business models
and technologies.
DevOps Capabilities:
Good understanding of DevOps concept; Hands-on experience in software development and release engineering
Worked on a Continuous Delivery and Continuous Integration pipelines
Hands-on experience in one or more of the following tools: Copado, Welkin Suite, SFDCDX, VSC etc.
Excellent working knowledge in agile/scrum based software development and change management
Experience in GIT branching.
Work with developers to properly resolve conflicts, deployment errors and meet code coverage.
Set and manage consistent deployment schedules, accounting for any dependencies and risks along the way
while identifying issues to ensure they are not repeated.
Manage release schedule and key release milestones across all Salesforce development projects, ensuring easy
and timely deployments across environments.
Command the code branching architecture branching, merging, rollback plans, etc.
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field (or equivalent in experience).
4+ years’ experience in CI/CD implementation & rollouts
3+ years’ Experience in Salesforce platform (Configuration or Development) along with understanding of
integration to/from Salesforce
2+ years’ experience in automation of repeated tasks and improving efficiency
Experience on an Agile Scrum project delivered under Continuous Delivery / DevOps is preferred.
Salesforce Release Tool certification (Copado/ Flosum) (Preferred)
Salesforce Platform Developer 1 OR Salesforce Platform Developer 2 certification(Preferred)

Service Description:

Service Description: This role will be responsible for the releases in salesforce base globally. We have multiple dev teams working in parallel for different markets. This very critical to manage all the releases together to make sure - code is not overwritten, other markets functionality is intact and there is ZERO impact to the existing business operations. The team will be involved in delivering, operating and supporting the existing CRM implementations and all future projects and services.
