Job description

Through your excellent technical and broad commercial experience, you will help internal stakeholders deliver on their growth and performance goals, whilst constantly looking to develop new proposition solutions in response to market and customer needs.

What You Will Do

  • Support development and execution of Global Underwriting strategy for Accident, Health & Travel
  • Provide subject matter expertise to internal and external stakeholders, including technical underwriting of existing and prospective clients, Multi-national programs implementation and commercial solutions, in order to deliver results that benefit the organization and the customers
  • Lead development and rollout of new propositions to respond to changing customer needs
  • Drive delivery of data & analytics and technology-related strategic priorities
  • Support portfolio and performance management of major global books of business, including identification and execution of underwriting actions, global accumulation modelling and reinsurance strategies
  • Build market presence through strong relationships with key distributors & partners at global and regional level and promote Zurich as a major global provider of Accident, Health and Travel

What You Bring

  • This is a senior role requiring at least 5+ years of experience in UW or Risk Management in Accident & Health lines with excellent knowledge of UW and pricing principles / methodologies
  • Advanced and in-depth knowledge of A&H lines of business to include Group Accident, Business & Leisure Travel, Supplementary Health, ideally with International Programs experience (Payment Protection and Health knowledge as an additional plus)
  • Excellent communication, influencing and negotiation skills combined with ability to build relationships and interact with stakeholders up to executive level
  • Strong coordination and project management skills, combined with the energy and drive to find solutions to complex issues
  • Graduate education with a hunger for continuous learning
