Bruker Nano Surfaces & Metrology Division (BNSM) is looking for a Sales Application Scientist to enhance the pre-sales application support and customer satisfaction. The application scientist will cover all Bruker Nano Surface products, with focus on Stylus and Optical Profilers and Tribological tester. The successful candidate will work with sales and marketing team to help prospects recognize the benefits of techniques and products provided by Bruker.

Responsibilities

The Sales Application Scientist will work closely with sales team in Korea and APAC regions, providing following supports.

  • Using sample measurements, lab demonstrations & live presentations, present the strengths of our products and technologies to customers, helping customers understand the benefits of the solution we provide.
  • Work together with Marcom on marketing events, including workshops, user meetings, conferences, exhibitions, and trade shows.
  • Help sales team understand the requirements of customers’ applications by customer visits, discussions etc.
  • Organize advanced application training courses for customers.

Qualifications

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

  • Excellent inter-personal communication skills
  • A positive team player, self-motivated with strong analytical skills
  • Energetic self-starter with a strong work ethic.
  • Fluent in English and Korean

Educational/Experience Requirements

  • Ph.D in Material Science, Physics, Chemistry, Life Science or Engineering
  • 3 years prior work experience in relevant fields is preferred.
  • Technical background in surface characterization techniques is preferred
