Job Description
The Regional Account Manager achieves business financial objectives in respective customer accounts. Responsible for customer engagement and sales case ownership for the following: opportunity and offer strategy, customer pricing files, creating and maintaining sales opportunity, order forecast. Creates and manages sales relationships for strategically important accounts / within broad product or business areas. Develops sales strategies and practices to achieve revenue targets and service goals for the customer accounts. Participates in pricing strategies as well as contract negotiations and is responsible for providing professional support in order to generate orders.
How You Will Contribute And What You Will Learn
As part of the team, you will:
- Be responsible for the sale of all Nokia Mobile Networks products and services to Rural and Regional Service Providers. Role is for a territory with existing and prospect customers.
- Maintains a Salesforce funnel tracking orders and revenues for all existing and new opportunities.
- Identifies and develops significant business opportunities by interpreting critical internal or external business information, such as customer needs, Nokia's portfolio, competitive landscape, etc.
- Builds a network and trustworthy relationships with customers and partners to gain customer insights, create a long-term sales strategy per account and become knowledgeable in strategic business impacts and decision-making processes.
- Presents, promotes and proactively communicates Nokia’s solutions to new and existing customers/partners and external stakeholders, at all organizational levels.
- Drives sales, pre-sales and other functions based on in-depth organizational understanding and develops competitive and innovative offers that deliver considerable value to both customers and Nokia.
- Actively participates in and contributes to pricing strategy and contract negotiations which lead to a positive near to mid-term business impact.
- Contributes to process / product / service improvement initiatives that help to sustain competitive advantage of Nokia.
- Solves highly complex or novel problems based on sophisticated analytical thought and complex judgment and develops unique sales approaches which differentiates our offering.
- Acts as the most senior sales expert, serves as best practice / quality resource and is an acknowledged authority both within and outside own organizational unit.
- Supports and executes online and offline sales and marketing campaigns, contributes to events/exhibitions and turn leads and contacts into sales opportunities and revenue.
- Travel: up to 50%

Key Skills And Experience
You must have:
- At least 5 years of telecom sales experience with “hunting” in a territory environment, selling (direct or with partners) in support of rural and regional US service providers
- Knowledge of Fixed Wireless Access (FWA) solutions, 4G/5G technologies and microwave transport solutions
- Demonstrated experience forecasting and managing opportunities using Salesforce.com
- Ability to perform under pressure and excel in a complex selling environment driving consistent strategy across multiple customer sets.
- Proven strategic thinking is required to leverage technical, marketing, end-user, and industry information to enable Nokia’s and customer’s success.
It would be nice if you also had:
- Knowledge of tower site acquisition and construction services
- Knowledge of Radio/Antenna design, integration and optimization services
- Prior experience working with consultants supporting rural/regional service providers
- Ability to seize the initiative and lead in the absence of direct supervision
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
