Remote Senior Accountant - Restaurant Accounting Services

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the month-end close process for a designated group of clients.
• Analyze profit and loss statements for discrepancies, proactively collaborating with clients to resolve concerns.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts, addressing any discrepancies effectively.
• Prepare preliminary financial statements and management reports for client review.
• Engage with clients to gather necessary information, respond to inquiries, and provide assistance.
• Mentor and guide Staff Accountants and new team members.
• Deliver exceptional customer service to both clients and internal stakeholders.
  
  

Required Skills

• A minimum of 4 years of comprehensive general ledger accounting experience.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
• Background in public accounting or outsourced accounting services.
• Familiarity with the restaurant or hospitality industry is strongly preferred.
• Proficient in Sage Intacct, Restaurant365, or similar cloud-based accounting software.
• Strong customer focus and commitment to client satisfaction.
• Excellent time management, meticulous attention to detail, and follow-through capabilities.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• A positive demeanor and a sincere desire to assist others.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of full-cycle general ledger accounting experience.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
