Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Human Resources Generalist to join our dedicated team remotely. Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate seamless new hire processes, including comprehensive orientation and accurate documentation management.
  • Ensure compliance with established HR processes and current employment regulations.
  • Partner with department leaders to shape and implement effective HR policies and procedures.
  • Manage processes surrounding promotions, transfers, and resignations in accordance with company standards.
  • Foster a positive work environment by addressing and resolving employee relations issues and grievances.
  • Conduct performance evaluations at key intervals, addressing developmental needs in a timely manner.
  • Uphold high standards of employee conduct and manage disciplinary procedures as necessary.
  • Provide valuable insights to leadership regarding employee morale and relations.
  • Oversee the full recruitment lifecycle, from sourcing candidates to onboarding.
  • Administer the worker’s compensation program, including timely claims submissions.
  • Maintain confidentiality while managing employee records and ensure they are accurately updated.
  • Engage in talent management strategies to enhance employee retention.
  • Contribute to the planning and execution of HR initiatives and programs.
  • Coordinate employee engagement activities to promote a vibrant workplace culture.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures and attend manager meetings as requested.

Required Skills

  • A solid foundation in human resources management, including employee relations, benefits, and compliance.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and applicant tracking systems.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with an aptitude for engaging in diverse workplace environments.
  • Strong organizational and time management capabilities, with keen attention to detail.
  • A reliable team player who can thrive in a fast-paced setting while managing multiple priorities.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving acumen and sound judgment in decision-making.
  • High initiative, flexibility, and the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • A minimum of three years of experience in human resources management, ideally within the hospitality sector.
  • Preference for candidates with SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) certification.
  • Must be able to pass a post-offer background check and drug screening in compliance with workplace policies.
