Role: Nurse Practitioner for Virtual Patient Care

Location: Fully Remote

Schedule: Flexible scheduling, available for 10 hours a week

Compensation: 1099 contract opportunity at $60/hour

About The Role

We invite you to become a valued member of our dynamic team as a Nurse Practitioner, where you will provide exceptional virtual patient care in a welcoming and collaborative environment. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct initial intake evaluation video consultations with new patients (ages 18+), fostering a supportive atmosphere for their healthcare journey.
• Holistically evaluate patients' needs, review lab results, and prescribe appropriate weight loss medications, primarily GLP-1 agonists.
• Engage with patients through the patient portal and asynchronous chat, ensuring prompt responses to inquiries and guidance.
• Oversee prescription refills and manage chronic condition care to support continuous patient health.
  
  

Required Skills

• Active Nurse Practitioner (NP) license in at least four of the following states: AZ, CA, FL, GA, IL, MA, MI, NY, OH, PA, TX, with residency in one of the licensed states.
• Board Certified (AGNP-BC or FNP-BC) by the ANCC or AANP.
• Preferred minimum of 2 years of independent practice experience as an NP.
• Preferred minimum of 1 year of experience in weight loss medicine, particularly in prescribing GLP-1 agonists.
• Comfort with prescribing compound medications.
• Background in Internal or Family Medicine is preferred.
• Experience managing complex chronic conditions is preferred.
• Previous telemedicine or virtual care experience is an asset.
