Job Overview

Join our esteemed community-based healthcare network as an HR Case Manager (RN) in a hybrid role that offers both remote and on-site work flexibility. If you are a dedicated Registered Nurse with a strong background in case management, this position provides you with the opportunity to profoundly impact the lives of our employees.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage Workers’ Compensation cases for employees
  • Act as a critical resource and liaison in the case management process
  • Facilitate effective communication regarding workers’ compensation claims
  • Guide employees through the return-to-work process
  • Collaborate with employees, their physicians, Employee Health, Human Resources, Legal teams, and insurance carriers
  • Analyze work-related injury trends and identify potential workplace health risks
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations
  • Offer insights and recommendations to enhance workforce safety and well-being

Required Skills

  • Proficient in project and case management
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong technology skills, including familiarity with EPIC, Lawson, Kronos, and Microsoft Office
  • Understanding of workers’ compensation and OSHA regulations is advantageous
  • Exceptional interpersonal and customer service abilities

Qualifications

  • Graduate of a Professional School of Nursing
  • A valid RN license in the State of Virginia is required
  • Current AHA BLS-HCP certification
  • Minimum of two years of professional nursing experience, with a focus on interviewing and health assessment; case management and/or workers’ compensation experience is preferred
  • Bachelor's degree (BSN preferred) is a plus
