Territory Sales Manager – Louisiana - Remote with Travel
- Candidates must be in Louisiana or within a reasonable area.
A leading company in their industry is seeking a Sales Manager for the Louisiana, East Texas, and West Mississippi territory who can develop existing business and bring in new industrial manufacturing customers to expand the company's market share.
Compensation: $130,000 - $200,000 Total Compensation. Base salary + 2.3% Gross Commission.

Job Description / Overview
Foster relationships with top management of key accounts in the assigned territory. Travel is about 60%.
Monitor and respond to sales trends, taking corrective action as needed to meet sales targets.
Expertly showcase the features and benefits of our Mechanical product line, offering training to both customers and colleagues.
Educate customers on product specifications, selling techniques, and proper applications.
Keep the Division informed about regional business trends and competitive conditions.
Support strategic planning by understanding and effectively communicating customer requirements.
Collaborate with various departments (production, distribution, engineering, marketing, finance) to achieve territory sales goals.
Resolve internal issues that could impact customers negatively, such as manufacturing, scheduling, delivery, and billing.
Lead proactive sales prospecting using our extensive client database.
Develop and execute strategic plans to expand our market presence in the designated region.
Conduct Impactful Technical Demonstrations To Showcase Our Manufacturing Capabilities.
Build and maintain strong client relationships, aligning our solutions with their unique manufacturing needs.
Manage the entire sales cycle from initial contact to contract negotiation and closure.
Collaborate with program management teams to ensure project success and long-term partnerships.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market dynamics, and the competitive landscape.
Provide regular and accurate sales reports, forecasts, and market insights to senior management.
Qualifications
Experience selling hoses, gaskets, belting, hydraulics, fittings, or similar products.
Proven track record in business development and sales within the relevant field.
Strong understanding of market dynamics, customer needs, and the competitive landscape.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Strategic mindset with problem-solving abilities.
Proficient in CRM systems and sales tools.
Willingness to travel for client meetings, industry events, and conferences.
Self-motivated and results-driven.
Strong analytical skills to translate data into actionable insights.
