Job Description:
Enterprise64 is seeking an experienced Senior SQA Engineer – Automation. In this role, you will be instrumental in leading the automation testing efforts, driving the development of automation frameworks, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality software solutions. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to automate testing processes and implement cutting-edge quality assurance techniques.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead the integration of automation into the continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines, improving the speed and reliability of testing cycles.
  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks to ensure efficient, scalable, and robust testing processes.
  • Perform hands-on automation testing across various layers, including UI, API, and backend services, ensuring comprehensive test coverage.
  • Collaborate with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to understand product requirements and define automation strategies to validate features.
  • Execute automated test scripts, analyze results, identify defects, and provide detailed reports to development teams.
  • Champion the use of automation tools and best practices within the QA team, continuously improving automation frameworks and methodologies.
  • Work within an Agile environment, ensuring quality assurance processes align with sprint goals and delivery timelines.
  • Mentor and coach junior QA engineers on automation practices, tools, and frameworks.
  • Participate in performance testing efforts and ensure automation contributes to the broader testing strategy, covering functional, performance, and security aspects.
  • Ensure the automation framework is scalable and adaptable to evolving technologies, expanding automation coverage as needed.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 4-6+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with a strong focus on automation testing.
  • Expertise in automation testing tools and frameworks, such as Selenium, Cypress, TestNG, JUnit, Postman, Rest Assured, or similar.
  • Strong knowledge of scripting languages like Python, Java, or JavaScript for writing automation scripts.
  • Hands-on experience integrating automation with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.).
  • Solid understanding of API testing and automation using tools like Postman or Rest Assured.
  • Familiarity with performance testing tools and methodologies (e.g., JMeter, Gatling) is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of Agile development processes and experience working within Scrum teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills, capable of working closely with development teams and mentoring junior QA team members.
