Job description

Milestone Business Solutions, a rapidly growing professional services firm that provides Outsourced Accounting and HR services to small and medium-sized businesses, is seeking an Account Manager to join our team. We are headquartered in Indianapolis but have a national footprint. We utilize best-in-class technology, have a “remote-first” work environment, and are proud of our amazing, collaborative team.

**This is a remote position with occasional required travel to the Indianapolis, Indiana, area. Candidates within a reasonable driving distance of Indianapolis are preferred.**

Responsibilities:

  • Execute business reviews with Milestone’s clients on a consistent cadence to look for additional opportunities while ensuring engagement optimization
  • Identify cross-selling opportunities based on business reviews, employee referrals, and client outreach
  • Own the Milestone client renewal process, coordinating with our internal team to compile and review renewal data
  • Ensure renewals are sent in a timely manner, scheduling review meetings as necessary
  • Address client and team member questions and concerns, serving as an escalation point for team members in managing existing client scope and service issues.
  • Identify and manage vendor and partner relationships
  • Create a sense of community among the current client base through client events, webinars, newsletter contributions, etc.
  • Identify opportunities for case studies, references, testimonials, and white papers
  • Continual learning and development to ensure up-to-date knowledge of Milestone products and services

Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience in sales, account management, or client experience
  • Ability to manage projects with minimal supervision
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills
  • Demonstrated time management and prioritization skills, with strong attention to detail
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
