What You'll do:

  • Support existing applications using .NET

  • Assess current application implementations, document present state, and note discrepancies with existing documentation

  • Maintain existing applications to meet all stated SLAs

  • Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve software using .NET elements used in client’s software stack

  • Translate requirements from User Stories into valuable, working software

  • Generate clear and maintainable documentation

  • Contribute to the culture and continuous improvement of an Agile team

  • Monitor monthly metrics to maintain system performance and identify trends that may require changes to the application.

  • Support responses to data calls and ad hoc reporting requests as needed.

  • May be expected to write documentation to describe program development, logic, coding, and corrections.

  • Writes manuals for users to describe installation and operating procedures as needed.

How You’ll Excel In Your Role:

  • Knowledge of DOT IT

  • Excellent analytic skills to assess existing software implementations

  • Working in an Agile environment

  • Drive to improve existing software implementations

Required Experience:

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Clearance

  • Must be willing and able to work EST hours

  • 2+ years hands-on .NET Core (versions 3.0 or greater) development experience

  • Experience with authorization and authentication

  • Experience in development and implementation experience with the full life-cycle of implementations, including designing the overall application architectures artifacts and data model

  • Experience with database technologies, team collaboration tools, e.g. JIRA, and deployment platforms, e.g. Jenkins or Git.

  • Working knowledge of the software development life cycle in general and Agile specifically

Preferred Experience:

  • DOT experience

  • Public Trust

  • Microsoft Power Platform

  • Bachelor Degree in information technology or business-related discipline

The salary range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Groundswell, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is:

$85,070.00 - $119,598.00
