Job description

Overview:

SageSure, a leader in catastrophe-exposed property insurance, is seeking a Program Reporting Analyst. The Program Reporting Analyst serves a key role in production of month-end program reporting and surplus lines reporting processes.  This position will work with cross-functional teams to prepare, analyze, and validate reports required for carriers, distribution partners, and state compliance offices.   

What you’d be doing: 

Carrier and Distribution Partner Reporting

  • Analyze and validate monthly carrier and distribution partner financial data for accuracy.
  • Liaison with cross-functional team to solution reporting inefficiencies or inaccuracies.
  • Evaluate reporting processes, recommend, and implement improvements.
  • Maintain month end validation tools and update as necessary.
  • Assist in the automation of monthly carrier and distribution partner reporting.
  • Monitor new product launches to ensure accurate inclusion in month end reporting.
  • Maintain process documentation and control narrative. 

Surplus Lines Reporting

  • Maintain surplus lines reporting validation tools and update as necessary.
  • Update reporting validations for regulatory changes and updates.
  • Prepare submission of surplus lines taxes, preparation of tax affidavits and filing of required forms on timely basis as specified by each state.
  • Work with internal departments to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Maintain process documentation and control narrative. 

We’re looking for someone who has: 

  • Demonstrated evidence of prioritizing effectively, meet deadlines and achieving goals
  • Proficient Excel skills, including the use of macros
  • Analytical review competency
  • Attention to detail and able to work independently to meet fixed deadlines
  • Working knowledge of XML, SQL programming and Power Query  
  • Highly organized, able to manage multiple projects simultaneously while prioritizing tasks effectively
  • Ability to gain understanding of how internal applications and related Information Technology controls support achievement of business processing objectives
