Manager, Learning and Development

Sony Interactive Entertainment is on a mission to empower our teams with pioneering AI skills and knowledge to unlock new possibilities in game development, player engagement, and operational efficiency. We are seeking a dynamic AI Learning & Development Program Manager to lead our efforts in building a comprehensive skills development program focused on AI.

Position Overview:

As the AI Learning & Development Program Manager, you will be responsible for designing and implementing a company-wide AI upskilling program. This role requires a forward-thinking individual who can collaborate with internal collaborators and external learning vendors to develop tailored learning paths for various individuals across the organization. Your work will ensure that our teams—ranging from engineers to creative professionals—are equipped with the skills they need to demonstrate AI in innovative ways. In addition to managing program delivery, you’ll collaborate with various departments to embed AI-focused content into other learning initiatives. You will hire and lead a small, high-performing team of content developers and regional support staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and implement a comprehensive AI upskilling strategy for the entire organization.
  • Partner with selected learning vendors to design and curate AI learning paths that cater to various roles and personas within the company.
  • Collaborate with internal partners, including engineering, studios, and operations teams, to embed AI learning content into other programs.
  • Supervise the creation and maintenance of learning materials, including courses, workshops, and on-demand resources.
  • Lead a team of content developers and regional support staff to ensure seamless program execution.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of AI learning initiatives and continuously refine the program to meet evolving business needs.
  • Stay current with AI trends and advancements to keep learning materials relevant and impactful.
  • Act as a leader with vision and consultant within the company on AI-related learning and development initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of experience in Learning & Development, Talent Development, or a related field, with a focus on technology or AI programs preferred.
  • Proven experience in designing and delivering large-scale learning programs in a fast-paced, global environment.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated experience partnering with external learning vendors and internal teams to design customized learning paths.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing and mentoring small teams.
  • Ability to translate complex AI concepts into accessible learning materials for non-technical audiences.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and advising skills.
  • Passion for AI and its potential to transform industries, with a willingness to stay on the cutting edge of industry trends.
  • Experience in the gaming industry or a solid understanding of gaming technologies and trends, is a plus!
  • Familiarity with AI tools and platforms, such as machine learning, natural language processing, or generative AI applications, is a plus!

Please note that the base pay range may vary in line with our hybrid working policy and individual base pay will be determined based on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
