Job description

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
As an intern, you'll have a unique opportunity to work closely with the founders and other team members to gain hands-on experience in launching new brands and growing the business. You'll be involved in various aspects of the business, from market research and product development to branding, marketing, and operations.

You'll be challenged to think creatively, work collaboratively, and bring new ideas. This internship will provide valuable experience in the e-commerce and startup world and a deep understanding of the D2C industry.

Comprehensive Industry and Market Analysis:
  • Conduct thorough research on the D2C industry, identifying key trends, growth patterns, and historical context.
  • Identify and analyze top D2C brands across various categories, studying their market positioning, unique value propositions, and target audiences.
  • Collect and evaluate data on brand strategies, including marketing, product assortment, pricing, and historical development.
  • Examine brands' digital marketing efforts, social media presence, website functionality, and customer feedback across multiple platforms.
Operational Support and Execution:
  • Manage affiliate sample requests efficiently, ensuring proper tracking and processing across marketplaces.
  • Participate in managing customer reviews and contributing to projects that enhance the online shopping experience.
  • Assist in coordinating various marketing campaigns, from voucher distributions to flash sales, to ensure strategic alignment and execution.
  • Oversee financial transactions, including the initiation and tracking of payment requests, with a focus on accuracy and detail.
  • Handle shipment logistics, including managing packing lists and creating Advanced Shipping Notices (ASN) for seamless delivery processes.
Strategic Reporting and Presentation:
  • Compile the research and analysis into comprehensive reports, providing insights, trends, and actionable recommendations.
  • Present findings to the team and stakeholders, effectively communicating key insights and strategic advice for decision-making.
