Overview:

SOFTSWISS continues to expand the team and is looking for a QA Engineer. We need a true, experienced, and accomplished professional who shares our culture and values.

About Product:

SOFTSWISS Game Aggregator is a solution for online casino websites that allows them to acquire gaming content from a number of game producers through one integration.

There are two ways for a casino to get games: they have to work either directly with the producers or with their partners - game aggregators. The second option is a common practice since the casino's one-time effort to integrate into the game aggregator pays off with thousands of games becoming available at once.

Currently, we provide games for over 300 domains. Today our portfolio consists of over 60 game vendors which is available through the Game Aggregator. In total it’s more than 10,000 games to choose from. But it’s not about the size – it’s about the quality and stability of our software.

Key responsibilities:

Work in a fully agile environment with senior engineers and the business side
Organize and optimize QA work for your team with TestRail: test strategy, test cases, and test executions
Create and maintain appropriate QA documentation for your product team
Measure quality of product with appropriate QA metrics and indicators
Report on QA stats, risks and work plans to your team members and product stakeholders
Research and develop new QA technologies and tools
Diagnose defects and track them from discovery to resolution and provide infrequent consultations for our clients
Collaborate with other teams - product, infrastructure, and business
Provide technical training for the product business team on demand
Release leading as a responsible QA

Requirements:

3+ years of experience in testing of server-side applications
English - Intermediate
Good communication skills
Strong troubleshooting skills
Version Control Systems:
- Experience with version control systems like Git or SVN, including branching, merging, and resolving conflicts.
Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD):
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., Gitlab, Travis CI) for automated testing and deployment processes.
API Testing:
- Proficient in testing APIs using tools like Postman, SOAPUI, or equivalent, and comfortable working with RESTful and SOAP APIs.
Database and SQL:
- Strong understanding of database concepts and ability to write complex SQL queries for data validation and testing.
Agile Methodologies:
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments, with a deep understanding of Agile testing practices.
Testing Frameworks:
- Familiarity with testing frameworks like TestNG, JUnit, NUnit, or equivalent for creating and managing test suites.
Bug Tracking Systems:
- Proficient in using bug tracking systems like Jira, Bugzilla, or similar tools for defect management and reporting.
Performance Testing:
- Basic knowledge of performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner) and concepts for load and stress testing.
Experience with ELK stack

Nice to have:

Test Automation Tools:
- Experience in using leading test automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar technologies.
Programming Languages:
- Programming skills in languages commonly used for automation (e.g., Java, Python, C#), as well as scripting languages for task automation.
