SCOPE, is currently looking for a Backend Developer to form part of our product team on a full-time basis. If you love technology, this is a unique opportunity to experience an innovative approach to coding! You will be working in a small team with an architect and a front end developer working collaboratively to design and develop a scalable, cloud native, microservices based backend.
Do you have what it takes?
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to offer creative solutions that align with project goals.
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar backend development role.
- A responsible, proactive attitude with excellent time-management skills.
- A meticulous, detail-oriented, and creative mindset with a passion for continuous improvement.
- Ability to troubleshoot and find efficient solutions.
- Communicate clearly and effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.
The Ninja skills we're after
- Proficient in Java/Kotlin with strong experience and in-depth knowledge of both languages.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Working knowledge of SQL and Git.
- Experience with microservices architecture, event sourcing, high availability systems, clustering, cloud / SaaS, CI/CD pipelines will be considered an asset.
- Experience with frameworks/libraries such as Micronaut, Spring, Jooq, Protobuf, Google Cloud, Docker, Gradle will be considered an asset.
