Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Microsoft Dynamics 365 Consultant specializing in Field Services to join our team on a fully remote, freelance basis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and customising Dynamics 365 Field Service solutions to meet the operational needs of our clients. This is an exciting opportunity to work with diverse projects and deliver impactful solutions that optimize field operations.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Solution Design & Implementation:

    • Analyse client requirements related to field operations and propose solutions within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Field Services.
    • Configure and customize Dynamics 365 Field Services features such as work order management, resource scheduling, asset management, and mobile capabilities.
    • Ensure seamless integration of Field Service modules with other Dynamics 365 modules (Sales, Customer Service, etc.) and external systems.

  • Customization & Development:

    • Customize workflows, business rules, and user interfaces to optimize field operations.
    • Develop custom functionalities and extensions using Power Platform tools like Power Apps and Power Automate.

  • Mobile Field Service Solutions:

    • Implement and configure the Field Service Mobile app to support field technicians with real-time data access and offline capabilities.
    • Ensure solutions provide full functionality for mobile users in the field, improving service efficiency and productivity.

  • Training & Support:

    • Provide user training and support to field technicians, dispatchers, and other end-users.
    • Offer ongoing support and troubleshooting to ensure the smooth functioning of Dynamics 365 Field Services.

  • Project Management & Client Collaboration:

    • Collaborate with project managers, developers, and client stakeholders to deliver projects on time and within scope.
    • Provide expert advice and best practices to optimize field service operations and improve service delivery efficiency.

Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a consultant specializing in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Field Services.
  • Deep understanding of Field Service management processes, including resource scheduling, asset management, work order management, and inventory management.
  • Proficient in configuring and customising Dynamics 365 Field Service modules, workflows, and mobile solutions.
  • Strong experience with Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate) and Dynamics 365 integration.
  • Experience working with Field Service Mobile app and supporting field teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Strong communication skills to interact with clients and stakeholders effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Microsoft certifications in Dynamics 365 Field Service or related areas (e.g., MB-240).
  • Experience in industries with field service operations (e.g., utilities, manufacturing, healthcare, etc.).
  • Familiarity with other Dynamics 365 modules such as Sales, Customer Service, or Project Operations.
