This is a remote position.

Job Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Mortgage Credit Analyst to support our brokers in preparing and submitting loan applications. In this role, you will ensure that all loan applications comply with lender and regulatory guidelines, provide timely and accurate information to clients, and build strong, positive relationships with lenders. You will also manage and collate all necessary documentation for loan applications, maintain customer files and tracking systems, and collaborate effectively with team members to meet organizational targets. Your attention to detail, strong communication skills, and ability to foster professional relationships will be key to your success in this position.

Job Description:

Support Brokers: Assist brokers in preparing and submitting loan applications accurately and efficiently.
Compliance & Guidelines : Ensure that all loan applications strictly adhere to lender guidelines and compliance standards.
Customer Communication: Provide timely and clear information to customers regarding their loan applications, addressing inquiries and concerns as needed.
Relationship Management: Build and maintain positive relationships with lenders to facilitate smooth loan approvals and processing.
Documentation Management: Collate and manage all required documentation for loan applications, ensuring files are complete and up-to-date.
File & System Maintenance: Regularly update and maintain customer files and tracking systems to ensure efficient processing.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with team members to meet performance targets and ensure streamlined processes.



Requirements
  • Experience: Previous experience as a Mortgage Broker or Credit Analyst with an Australian lender or brokerage firm.
  • Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to clearly explain complex concepts to customers and team members.
  • Customer Service: Excellent customer service skills, with a proven ability to handle customer queries and resolve issues effectively.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in computer systems, database management, and relevant mortgage software.
  • Team Player: Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Organisational Skills: Strong time management and organizational abilities to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Adaptability: Ability to quickly adapt to changes in processes or regulatory requirements.
  • Work Ethic: A positive, proactive work ethic with a strong willingness to learn and grow in the role.Financial Acumen: Ability to understand and interpret financial documents, including both simple and complex financial statements.
