Position Overview

The Named Account Product Specialist is a strategic planner that focuses on our customers’ needs by connecting to the value of Autodesk’s Water solutions. You will help strategic Water customers navigate the challenges associated with digital transformation and industry convergence for all that they make, including some of the essential technologies that power the cloud, devices that simplify your life, and platforms behind well-known brands.

As a Named Account Product Specialist, you will engage with Named Account Sales Executives (NASEs) as well as assist the extended sales and customer success team in developing strong long-term business relationships with specific Named Accounts while meeting/exceeding financial and business objectives. Cross-team collaborators include Technical Solution Executives, Customer Success Managers, Technical Account Specialists, Inside Sales Renewal Reps, Inside Sales Expansion Reps, Global Business Development Reps, Sales Operations, Consulting Project Managers, Consulting Services delivery partners, Enterprise Development Executives, and product overlay roles.

You will report to the Head of Sales in the Autodesk Water Infrastructure Sales team and can be remote, hybrid or within an Autodesk office in North America.

Responsibilities

Establish Unique Customer Value

  • Develop important Business relationships

  • Align with executive-led plans

  • Translate customer challenges into value

  • Position Autodesk’s Water solutions as a trusted advisor

  • Displace embedded competitors

Account Team Engagement

  • Participate in development of customer-specific enterprise-level strategies

  • Assist in maintaining multi-year business plans

  • Communicate at all levels internally and at the customer, including C-level

Sales Excellence

  • Assist the Named Accounts team in achieving high-growth revenue and usage targets

  • Assist with the creation of value-focused proposals

  • Grow a multi-year sales pipeline

  • Ensure accurate forecasting

  • Assist in negotiation of enterprise contracts

Minimum Qualifications

  • 8+ years quota carrying software sales or customer success

  • Platform sales experience

  • Experience with large enterprises and global accounts

  • History of navigating complex contract negotiation

  • Understanding of the AEC eco-system, platform (PaaS) sales

Salary transparency

Salary is one part of Autodesk’s competitive compensation package. For U.S.-based sales roles, we expect a starting On-Target Earnings (OTE) between $178,200 and $257,950. OTE is comprised of base salary plus commission target for sales roles. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries and/or OTE for sales roles, we also have a significant emphasis on annual cash bonuses, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
