Tooling Engineer

Job Description

Assists the ROV Tooling Technicians in all tooling operations by 1) learning and assisting in the smooth operation/maintenance of the Remote Intervention Tooling, 2) assisting in preparing tooling for subsea operations, 3) assisting in operating and maintaining tooling during offshore deployment, and 4) assisting the ROV Tooling Technicians as required with all subsea intervention tasks. Works in close collaboration with the Senior ROV Tooling Technician. Works with close supervision. Requires qualifications as per IMCA minimum entry requirements. IMCA R002 and R010 refers. Operations include assisting with preventive maintenance, learning fault finding methods on systems and learning ROV interface methods.

Certification/ Qualification:

Bachelor of Mechatronics Engineering from the below universities:

Cairo University, Ain Shams University, Alexandria University, American University in Cairo, German University in Cairo, AAST University

Minimum two years of experience in a relevant role. Preferably with good exposure in Oil & Gas industry

IT Skills: Good command of IT literacy and MS office
