Job Description:

*This is a REMOTE position.*

Job Objectives:

As a Business Analyst in DXC’s Order-to-Cash (O2C) organization, you will be you will be responsible for analysing large sets of billing data, identifying trends, providing actionable insights, and supporting the billing function through advanced Excel, PowerPoint presentations, and project management skills. The ideal candidate has strong expertise in working with complex data, project management experience, and a deep understanding of O2C billing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Analysis & Reporting:

  • Analyze large volumes of billing data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement.

  • Build and maintain complex Excel models and dashboards for reporting key billing performance metrics.

  • Use data analysis to provide actionable insights that drive decision-making within the billing team.

  • Present data findings and recommendations to senior management using visually compelling PowerPoint presentations.

  • Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across all reporting systems.

Project Management:

  • Lead and manage various projects aimed at improving billing processes, efficiency, and accuracy within the O2C organization.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Finance, IT, Sales) to ensure successful project execution, from initiation to completion.

  • Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and milestones, while tracking progress and ensuring deadlines are met.

  • Facilitate project meetings, gather requirements, and coordinate resources to ensure timely delivery of project goals.

Process Improvement & Documentation:

  • Identify areas for process improvement within the billing function and propose data-driven solutions.

  • Document and optimize billing workflows to increase efficiency and reduce errors.

  • Develop and maintain process documentation, ensuring it is up to date and compliant with internal and external standards.

  • Assist in the design and implementation of automation tools or systems that enhance billing operations.

Cross-functional Collaboration:

  • Partner with internal stakeholders across the O2C organization to understand business needs and translate them into data-driven insights.

  • Act as a key point of contact for billing-related data requests and reporting needs.

  • Work closely with IT teams to ensure smooth integration of new systems or enhancements to existing billing platforms.

Strategic Support:

  • Support the billing leadership team by providing in-depth analysis and insights on key business performance metrics.

  • Assist in the creation of executive-level presentations to summarize business findings, project status, and improvement plans.

  • Contribute to the long-term strategy of the O2C billing function by offering innovative solutions backed by data analysis.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Data Analytics, or a related field.

  • 3+ years of experience in a business analyst role, preferably within an O2C or billing environment.

  • Advanced Excel skills (e.g., complex formulas, pivot tables, data analysis tools, macros).

  • Proficiency in creating professional PowerPoint presentations to visualize and present data to stakeholders.

  • Strong experience in project management, including developing project plans, tracking progress, and ensuring timely completion.

  • Ability to work with large datasets, clean and manipulate data, and extract actionable insights.

  • Strong understanding of O2C processes, particularly billing, invoicing, and accounts receivable.

  • Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and problem-solving ability.

  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with cross-functional teams and senior management.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
