This is a remote role in the US, with travel as needed

Position Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Manager of Sales to lead our sales efforts in the Food Industry vertical. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving growth, securing new business, and maintaining strong relationships with key accounts. This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of the food industry, excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record in sales management.

Regal Rexnord Conveyance Division:  The Conveyance Solutions Division is responsible for the Rexnord, SystemPlast and Cambridge brands of conveyance products sold primarily into the Food and Beverage markets, approaching $500M in annualized revenue.  Headquartered in Milwaukee, WI, this team is located globally, with leadership concentrations also in Cambridge, MD, the Netherlands, and Italy. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve company goals and growth objectives within the food industry, directly in North America and via collaboration globally.
  • Business Development: Lead a team of Strategic Sales people to identify and pursue new business opportunities, expanding our market presence and customer base.
  • Account Management: Ensure that strong relationships are maintained with key accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty, including leading complex legal negotiations
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing sales team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
  • Sales Forecasting: Highly-engaged use of CRM (Salesforce) to prepare and manage sales forecasts, budgets, and reports, ensuring accurate and timely information for decision-making.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including marketing, product management, engineering,  customer service and legal teams to ensure alignment and support for sales initiatives.
  • Customer Engagement: Engage with customers to understand their needs, provide solutions, and deliver exceptional service.
  • Performance Metrics: Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics (such as Bookings, Funnel Size and Creation), implementing corrective actions as needed to achieve targets.
  • Personal Development: Attend product training while committing to self-study to enhance product and industry knowledge.

Basic Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. 
  • 8+ years of experience in sales management, preferably within the food industry. 
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth. 
  • Strong leadership and team management skills. 
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. 
  • Ability to analyze market data and develop effective sales strategies. 
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite. 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Master’s degree in Business Administration or a related field. 
  • Experience with food safety regulations and industry standards. 
  • Knowledge of supply chain management and logistics in the food industry. 
  • Familiarity with digital marketing and e-commerce strategies. 

Location: Preferred in Chicago, Milwaukee or Cambridge, MD - but open to all of North America

Pay Range: $150,000 to $200,000 + 30% variable comp

Travel: ~25-50% depending on location
