Genesys is seeking an experienced Sr. Sales Operations Manager to support multiple North American markets. This role is critical to lead the operational execution across the field organizations, including Sales Executives, Sales Engineers, Overlay Specialists, and Channel Partners. This role will help drive the evolution of GTM structure, productivity optimization, planning, and operational processes. Primary responsibilities include operational execution and cadence, establishing consistency and scalability in Lead to Cash processes, creating business performance insights, fiscal planning activities (e.g., territory design and quota-setting), optimizing sales productivity and deploying sales capacity to support the GTM design. The successful candidate will not only possess a broad understanding of sales, channel & alliances, and business operations within the Enterprise Software industry but also must communicate effectively with senior-level sales executives and back office functional leadership. This candidate will be data-driven, self-motivated, sales business application savvy, intellectually curious, a fast learner, detail-oriented, and able to move quickly while keeping focused on high-impact projects with limited direction and supervision.
Overview
The Sr. Sales Operations Manager is the key business partner to the several subregional Sales VPs and back office business operational functions. This role is expected to have outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills and can synthesize high volumes of information and data to support a rapidly changing organization. Specifically, the role is a hands-on, individual contributor, that will provide strategic and operational support to the Sales, Sales Engineering and Specialist, and Partner organizations. The role will be expected to drive repeatability, predictability, and scalability across the business. The role will partner closely with cross-functional partners to help establish and execute GTM strategy, Sales segmentation, territory design, quota setting, sales process, and KPI/scorecard frameworks to support the business in exceeding both short and long-term financial goals. S/he and the team will both lead and support the execution of multiple strategic cross-functional projects that are crafted to increase bookings, productivity, and overall efficiency in meeting corporate objectives.
Responsibilities
Establish and maintain operating cadence/rigor across all Sales, Sales Engineering/Specialists, and Partner functions to ensure the health of the business in achieving key performance metrics.
Conduct in-depth business analysis and develop a deep understanding of key value drivers to identify growth opportunities. Develop key insights for executive-level presentations and drive critical business decisions.
Drive cross-functional critical initiatives to accelerate productivity across the field, accelerate Genesys’ transformation to a subscription model and achieve overall corporate objectives.
Partner with leaders across Genesys to create business strategies and build business cases for potential investments (e.g., geographic market/industry vertical business plans). Present insights and recommendations to senior leadership, and drive the “follow-through” of those recommendations to ensure smooth execution with a diverse array of cross-functional partners.
Partner with Field leadership teams, Finance, and Corporate Strategy, to build models that forecast near and long-term sales revenue, profit, and ROI.
Responsible for Annual Fiscal Planning & Execution including org structure, financial goal setting, quota setting, and market segmentation.
Support executive deliverables such as Board Reviews, Quarterly Business Reviews, Objectives & Key Results, and more.
Requirements
10+ years of experience in a senior sales operations role with deep domain expertise in territory planning and GTM design, quota setting, sales capacity and productivity modeling, business performance analysis, customer master data management, and Salesforce CRM.
Demonstrated success in creating and driving operational rigor and excellence while building trusted relationships with key stakeholders to maximize sales productivity and remove friction from operational processes to support long-term durable growth of the business.
Experience managing operations for a regionally distributed team of 100+ associates for at least 5 years.
Possesses business acumen with strong analytical and intuitive problem-solving skills.
Project management skills to deliver operational capabilities that require long-term thinking and proactive planning.
Gathers and uses data strategically to create improvements, guide key business decisions, persuade others, and solve problems.
Works effectively in an unstructured environment requiring new perspectives and creative approaches. Able to see the big-picture while also being hands-on and in command of the details.
Desire to take on the tough projects and challenges to support the growth of the business.
Ability to be highly productive with minimal oversight from senior management.
Sets goals and consistently delivers results. Takes responsibility for actions and outcomes.
Able to speak and present complex topics in front of the Executive Leadership team with crisp and concise delivery.

This role has a market-competitive salary with an anticipated base compensation range listed below. Actual salaries will vary depending on a candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, and location. This role might also be eligible for a commission or performance-based bonus opportunities.
$115,850.00 - $227,350.00
